The concensus is that 18-26.5" is the right length for TC40DA HTL?? Their next shorter HTL from CCM is 16-22.5".

Yes, the standard toplink is 19" retracted, so 18.5" is the one you want. That's the one I have and it works great.

My top ling on the TC40DAss is 20 1/4 inches fully retracted center of pin to center of pin. 30 1/4 fully extended center of pin to center of pin. I must say though at 30 1/4" I don't know what would be used at that angle. Hope this helps.

Will CCM also supply hoses for HTL if requested?? What length hose would be appropriate from rear remote, dealer installed TC40 DA to HTL??

Yes, they sent hoses with mine. You will need to decide on 1/4" or 3/8" hoses so they can make up the correct adapters. The CCM kits are complete and so easy to install it will make you want to hug Mark...well...maybe a handshake. :D

I think my hoses are 36" and that's about perfect.

1/4" hoses is what we recommend but either will work.

Thanks for that info, Mark. I made it sound like the hoses are included in the price in my post above. I should have said that the hoses are optional and worth the extra cost because they make installation so easy.

The desk jockey at NH dealership thought only short hose needed like 18". Plus, he couldn't confirm compatible quick connects. He's probably FOS, but I guess I'll just have cylinder shipped to the dealer directly and let them make up the hoses.

I don't think 18" is long enough. Here is a photo of my 36" toplink hoses. I think they are just right.

Looking at that set up, it appears that about the only way 18s would fit is if there are L fittings at both ends
