My 2-14 plow was just more than it could easily handle without spinning the tires constantly. If I raised the plow enough to keep the tractor moving, I didn't have enough depth to roll the sod under.
Just courious did your draft control not work we if it did it would have done all of the adjustments for you . We pulled 2 /14s and 3/12s with a 135 gas for years in red NC clay.
