They will sieze up to due to dissimilar metals.

Either way these hitches were made to take out after each use. Just take them out. Simple fix.

Yeah, until you misplace it :(

I lost the drawbar to my B7610 for 2 years, kept putting off buying another one, finally found I had put it in my trailer box :( :)

I lay them on the tongue of the appropriate trailer if in my barn or they live in the storage box on my Titan or under the rear seat of my F350.

I weld all of my trailer balls. I get them as tight as I can with an impact or pipe wrench and then tack the nut to the shank on the ball. I don't heat it enough to cause any significant changes just enough to keep the nut from coming loose. Never had any problems.

I installed a new 2 5/16" trailer ball on my 10k drawbar this morning. An 18" long 1 1/4" box end wrench with me bouncing on the end of it - all 275 lbs of me! I figure I got it close to 400 ft-lbs on the nut. With a light touch of oil or grease on the ball, I doubt it will come loose.
