As for insurance claims. It probably depends on the insurance company. I have my John Deere tractor in the dealer's shop for an insurance claim right now. No insurance adjuster. I have pictures, but they don't want them, the insurance company is depending strictly on the dealer to provide all the information to settle the claim. An the insurance agent is only a few miles from the dealer's shop.

WOW. I haven't had a tractor claim...............I didn't they would work that way.

As I learned when my house burned down: A public adjustor is your best friend in this kind of situation.

The money you pay him is far less than what the insurance company will try to cheat you out of.

Is it a perfect solution? No. In a perfect world, the insurance company would pay what they are supposed to with no problems. In the real world, they have a large incentive to save as much as they can on each claim, and going into a claim without someone who knows the business on your side tells them they can be obstinate.

My wife and I are both from Joplin.
I left 39 years ago but have went back every year to see family.
We went back to help our families 1 1/2 weeks after the storm.
The destruction was unbelieveable and heart breaking.
We couldn't drive down the streets without tears in our eyes.
Hopefully the dealer will treat you right.
The storm just proved how tuff a Kubota is and now the tractor has some history.
Just be sure you check it out real well and if its not right don't accept it.
