Towing Capacity of L2501

I pull my 7000 lb travel trailer up/down my steep 25% driveway with my HST equipped MX. Brakes seem adequate and plenty of power. If the area is fairly flat and the road graded, I'd probably hook up and test how it feels. If it felt good, I'd probably attempt it. If not, not. Go slow. Grade the road first. Use 4wd for better traction and braking.

I pull my trailer up the drive because the 2wd truck doesn't have enough traction. Just slips in the gravel.

Edit: Your tongue weight might concern me. I suspect your tongue weight might be a tad heavy. Definitely check that.

Pulled almost 12k with my MX on sloped ground before - wont do it again. I knew I was pushing it and while it did fine I know it was not the safest thing to do, just could fit anything else in the space so I went VERY slow

I pulled my dump trailer (2200 lbs) with about 3-4 yards of a sandy dirt mixture (8-10k?) with my L2501. 2 or 3 trips, 1/2 mile across my property with a few hills. I was in low/4wd the whole time of course and while I might do it again in a pinch my truck is now a better option. I was using a 3pt trailer mover type hitch.

I built a farm wagon from new Horst running gear. It's rated at 20,000 pounds. My Kubota M6040 weighs 10,050# and is rated to tow - 11,000#. I have - log weight charts & rock weight charts. I know, for a fact, that I've had 15,000# to 16,500# on my farm wagon and pulled it, easily, with the Kubota.

BELIEVE WHAT WE ARE TELLING YOU HERE!!! It's not towing the load that's the concern. It will be stopping the load. If slope or grade is involved in this move - you will be surprised how much that load can push you around.
