This is the ultimate package. Posi-Track, or ASV sold me forever when I bought this package. The ride is like no other and the performce is unmatched anywhere. I used to run a Bobcat T300 with a Fecon mulcher. When I bought this ASV RC 100, I couldn't believe that for the past year I had been breaking my back in that rigid mounted, over heating Bobcat. The suspension ASV patented, is unbelievable. Congrats to Posi-Track.
I just switched my Fecon mulcher for the new Magnum Mulcher, with the new Rexroth motor. Another one of the best decisions I've ever made. The cut is at least 35% faster than the Fecon. Also, if I hit a rock and break a tooth on the Magnum mucher head, I can flip the tooth with an impact wrench and have a new tooth on the other side. I think Magnum has a patent on the double-sided hammers. Anyways, if you have propery you want to enhance, this package is in a class of its own.

Where'd you buy yours?

It's my dream setup too. I like the Tushogg mulching head myself, but have never used any of them.

There's a dealer nearby selling the Loftness and another dealer selling the Magnum.

Bought mine from an ASV dealer in Montgomery, AL. I went to ASVI.com to find the dealer closest to me. The dealership in Montgomery is called Equipment and Parts Specialist. They are a great group of people. Excellent service and great support from the salesman.

I saw one of those gnarly monsters for the first time about 6 months ago... my mouth dropped.

Couldn't belive what the area looked like after he was done (local power company clearing the right of ways)

Be a fun toy to have /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I hear ya Yelladog, Iv got a T300 and hate everything about it. Rough, overheating, underpowered describe it in a nutshell. I am, however, purchasing a Supertrak in the coming week, and getting rid of the white and orange piece. The thing I like about it is its a dedicated machine but you can still put a bucket on it, and the power is unmatched. If anyone has any questions about it ask me, i'll be glad to badmouth a Bobcat

I sold the same head on CT332 Deere. It is an awesome head. I am trying to get Deere to offer a forestry packaged machine.

Did you buy it from James King?

Joe, which SuperTrak did you decide on TL150 or SK120TR? Are you staying with the Fecon head? Demoed a TL150 the other day, but think I'm going to start with a RC100 and head. TL150 is nice setup and works well. SuperTrak machine has definitely solved any overheating problems. I wasn't sold on the amount of power they get to the head with this machine. The RC100 is in the same league with this machine. I talked with the factory about the hydraulic pressure on the RC100 and they said peak pressure is 3650 psi. I asked why they say 3300 psi, his response was that's what the system is operating at with 38 gpm flow and full throttle. SuperTrak guy told me RC100 working pressure was around 2600 psi and 3300 was peak. I expected the TL150 to really bowl me over and it didn't. I'm sure the SK120 with the closed loop and 4000 psi makes a big difference.

I fly out to Lufkin and demoed an RC100 with the Tushogg head. Wasn't impressed. The head had their non-carbide cutter style teeth. Somebody had been demoing the head and the teeth were absolutely round edged. I was surprised the dealer even demoed them, but we did. The head is really heavy and I thought it bogged down too easily. It was hard to say how it would operate with sharp cutters. The demo site we could only cut dead pines and a few hardwoods. Tushogg is well built, but I don't think the right head for the RC100. I did talk with a fellow who runs the pointed teeth and he says he couldn't be happier.

I demoed a Supertrak sk 120 which is bigger than the 150 and loved it, I hope to get mine today or tomorrow. The 120 actually runs 55 psi under load, it takes a lot to stop it. If you are planning to use solely for grinding I would get a dedicated unit, thats what they are built for. I have a buddy that runs an asv and absolutely loves it, i'll get you in touch with him if you want, or just look up "ASV face down" and thats him.

I would love to talk with your friend about the ASV. Are you saying the SK120 runs at 5500 psi or 55 gpm? Their numbers say 40gpm and 4000 psi. I talked with Tom King today and may go down there to look at a couple different heads. He says he can sell all of them except for Tushogg.
