I'm afraid Willman is right.....
"Yes, tractor addiction is legal, but it dont stop there!
Its the new implement fixes that'll get ya.
The smell of new paint on cold steel, oh my.
Trying to get that new piece of equipment in the barn before the wife comes home.
Drooling over the rotary cutter brochures.
Scrounging for money for the next new attachment.
Then you'll need a bigger barn, need more land....
its a visious cycle!.."
The tractor is simply the "gateway".....the implements are the real addiction.
Just one more tool to make us money or save us time. Just one more peripheral item, like a hydraulic cylinder or a coupling, to make things run a little smoother. Just one more paying job and it'll be all better...yes, yes, yes.
Before you know it, you're fibbing to the family about where you've been and what you've done with your money. You're calling in sick to work and making excuses to stay home. You're time away is pure agony and it's all you think about, yet your time alone is pure joy.
Yes, you are now a member of the "victim society" in this country and deservedly so. You were ignorant of the addictive nature of this blatantly legal product we know as tractors. You were hoodwinking by sharp tongued capitalists into squandering your hard-earned money on such trappings....."easy financing, nothing down, low interest"...yeah, we've all heard the pitch.
Yes sir, you need to contact your local ACLU, the nearest branch office of the American Worker's Party, the Sierra Club, N.O.W., and the Kennedy family in order to establish your victimhood and begin the awareness campaign reaching out to all of those like you who are afflicted (but just don't know it) with "tractorholism."
I feel your pain, brother.....
