Price Check Tractor Appraisal For a Friend

I'm posting this for a friend who's having a real rough go of things here lately and needs to sell his tractor.

It's a Yanmar YM2000. The rear main seal is out of it and needs replaced but other than that it runs good, no lights. It had new bushings in the steering about two years ago and since then it steers very hard even when moving. It has a four speed transmission with high and low ranges and a two stage clutch (halfway down to shift gears without stopping PTO, all the way down to shift gears and stop PTO). It's got a three speed 1 3/8" PTO (I don't have the manual, so I don't know the PTO speeds, exact hp or year). There is also an PTO overrun clutch with quick coupler which can be moved to other implements very easily.

Comes equipped with a Koyker 110 Loader and 4' bucket that is in great shape! There is also a 55" ISEKI RA1360 3 pt. mounted rototiller, Leinbach post hole auger, 5' box blade with ripper teeth and a Razor 5' rough cut rotary mower. The counter weight will not be sold. He used the tiller one time and said the tractor would handle it but a bigger tractor would really be better, this tractor didn't really have enough mass and just got thrown all around, also just a little underpowered (however, it was hard ground that had not been worked before so that makes a difference).

I have operated this tractor prior to steering problem and its a great little tractor. I know he has used it for a lot of things and has done a lot of work with it.

I'm interested in knowing the price of the whole lot as well as possibly individual prices. Everything will be sold together except maybe the mower and box blade, as I am interested in purchasing those for use on my 2N. If I can swing it, I would also really like to purchase the tractor from him as well.

Couple of comments about the condition of the tractor. Seems a rare thing to have the rear seal out. If that is a definite diagnosis a new seal costs only $11.80 but the kicker is splitting the tractor to change it. Would also make me nervous about main bearing condition. Steering fix should not be a major thing but needs repaired. I'm probably the one mistaken but I don't believe the ym2000 has a 2 stage clutch and if it did you wouldn't need the over run clutch. Here is my price list mostly basing it on what I see around East Texas. Tractor with known problems $2000, Koyker loader $2000, Iseki tiller $800, post hole auger $375, box blade $250, rotary mower (no stump jumper) $400. $5500 for the package deal.
The loader and the tiller are the 2 jewels in the deal. This is just my opinion and not worth a whole lot at any financial institutions.

Thank you for the input. I have not seen the oil problem myself but dad helped him bring it over to the house and said it was "spewing oil from the starter." That's what's making both of us believe its the rear main...we haven't tore into it yet to see for sure, but it still runs. Do you know of a place I could find a new seal? I've heard parts are hard to find for these little tractors.

The YM2000 is probably the most popular of all grey market Yanmars and best as far as parts. I would hate to recommend a parts source because there are many good ones out there. Many advertise on these forums. You might consider the possibility of one of these banjo bolts leaking around the starter area. Not there so I'm just throwing out something to look at. consider the possibility of one of these banjo bolts leaking around the starter area. Yanmar Tractor Parts: OIL_SYSTEM

That's my guess too, Item #15 (exterior oil pressure line to the rockers) is damaged.

That should be simple to fix.
