Very good planing for sure.I Do like Ur drawings.I couldn't draw to save My soul.

I always start every project with alot of freehand drawnings. That way I visualize my ideas and improve them along the way.
Here is a picture of my previous project; a front 3 point linkage for my Belarus 820. I don't like to buy expensive attachments, I rather construct them alone; that way I save money and get a machine just the way I like it

That looks great, BF! I see you got some of your design inspirations from
industrial hoes, rather than compact tractor attachments:
No pin sharing between boom and dipper cylinders, dual hyd pumps for
swing and other functions. Nice.

I am a big fan of front 3-pt hitches, too.

As far as I'm concerned, tractor without a front linkage or without front loader is far less usefull, especially if it's got a high HP engine.
Well, in my opinion two pin design should be better because of stress distribution and the pins should last longer in comparission with one pin design.
There will be greater touch surface between pin and bushings...so it should result in less wear...

Well, that's kinda off topic (sorry), but here are a few pictures...

Subframe for my mini tractor; with front linkage for dozer blade or other attachments. This is not finished yet...

...and a little grader, similar to the ones you use in USA, but with some of my ideas built in (and curved design because i don't like square designs and sharp edges..)
It's gonna have a roller on the back, with hydraulic leveling because I believe it would be better if this kind of graded surface gets some compaction after grading...
Also, roller should add weight to the whole machine so it will not jump on hard surfaces and this way it will achieve better surface penetration.
On the other hand, when the roller is at it's lowest position, the rest of the machine will be in the air adding weight for better compaction...
I wanted to create a multipurpuse machine...sort of "all in one"...

I'm glad I finally checked into this site. Gee! is all I can say about your "home build-it" back hoe attachment! Very nice five minute sketch as well. Aren't CNC's great to work behind? Your weld beads are code--for sure.
Be looking for finals as well.

This started as a hobby when I was very young (now I'm 28 years old). I learned all these skills mostly by my self.
I'm not a mechanical engineer, I graduated electrical engineering, but was always far more interested in mechanics.
This is not the only machine I've constructed, there are a lot of them; this one is just the most complicated

Nice work and a nice project. You and I agree on the hand sketches; even crude ones are faster when doing rough design. Plus it's lots more fun.

One thing I didn't appreciate until getting there is that in a traditional engineering education the first few years of engineering courses are similar - sometimes identical - regardless of the eventual specialty. So the various fields of engineering aren't all that far apart. A lot of engineering work is surprisingly similar.

The result is that an engineering education is pretty portable, even when working the technical side. I went to college later in life (I'm 66 now, graduated at 50). My degree is in civil, but most work has been mechanical or electrical.
