I was wondering if you could buy some DOM drawn over mandrel tubing that could suffice for bushings?

What material are you using for bushings? What sizes/lengths are you making? Hope you have a good boring bar.

Nice indoor lathe work. I was wondering if you use a special bushing material or just mild steel.

Definitely a very time consuming stage with lots of material removal but it's worth in the end. :thumbsup:

Yes it takes alot of time but it's not that bad, I'm used to lathe work so I'm making good progress

No but after they made the movie "True lies" me and all the kids in the neighbourhood wanted to have one of those Harriers, so maybe we can try to build one in th barn...?

Why do I think you're only partly kidding? Maybe not a jet but some sort of aircraft in the barn has probably crossed your mind.
