I was showing my girlfriend how to use the loader on a neighbours ag tractor, took it up to max height, maybe 12/14 ft or so and was about to dump the bucket. She says what about the saws? My brand new Stihl MS260 was in there with another older saw /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Did that once with a 20 foot chain that I had just bought from Harbor Freight. Now I did not lose it, and I know which pile of dirt that it is under. Problem is its way under. I'll be hooking up the backhoe in a month or two and it will wait till then....

I have on occasion used my rear scoop or carry-all with a pallet on it as a tool / materials caddy.. very similar idea.

Never once have I dumped my FEL bucket with firewood
and chainsaw in the bucket. Three or four times yes,

The tractor caddy looks nice but pricey.
I put some things in my ballast box.

I was thinking about this, but freight would put the $$ too high for me. If anyone is in OHIO area maybe its worth looking at. The list on this thing is $599. Maybe it can be snapped up for around $ 200 ??

One of our Club Members made his own..He put casters on the bottom so it is portable when not hooked to the tractor..See picture

I see the "Tractor Caddy" is still at $200 with no reserve. With a list of $599 there sure must be a high mark-up on that. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Before I got a FEL I built a front bumper with a receiver. This little box was super handy. If you don't have a FEL it is worth making this.

I got off work last night about 11:30pm, and hte temps here in FL had went from 80's to 40'.. I got home and had to take some bedding out to the animal pens.. and didn't feel like hitching up the trailer or carryall.. so I just piled the bags of bedding on the rotary cutter that was still attatched to the tractor from when I mower a couple weeks ago.. and away I went.... made a good impromptu platform.. anmals were happy.. as it got chilly fast...

Since I have 'extra' tractors.. I may leave a cary-all or small trailer hitched to one o fhtem.. or leave it near the barn for quick use.. etc.

That unit sold for $ 227.50. Nice bargain....even a decent 'carry-all' frame is near that !

My shipping quote was $ 270 /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. Wasn't such a bargain for me !!
