Rusty said:FrogLick - I struggled between SunGuard and TuffTop, also. I wanted the SunGuard because I liked the way it looks, and it was less expensive. However, I went with the TuffTop because I thought that I would need to take it off for various portions of my mowing. As it turns out, I have not taken it off since I installed it (Not that I haven't hit a few branches already). I have now mowed my lawn four times with the canopy. So far, it has bounced off the branches as advertised. Being out of the direct sun while mowing for several hours is worth every penny that I paid for it! My TuffTop vibrates at times, but it has not been a problem, so far. Good luck with your decision!!!![]()

Does anyone know how much height these add to the tractor?
Thanks,
Gary

Rusty said:stump54 - Yes, I would buy the TuffTop again, as I know that I will be taking it off and on at some time. I bought it from Jon DePratt at http://www.deprattequipment.com/ . Jon was great to deal with. Ask him for a TBN discount. The installed canopy adds 4.5" to 5" above the height of your ROPS. The brackets alone, with the canopy removed, add about 3.5" above the height of the ROPS. Good luck with your decision!![]()

Thanks ! What I'd like to see the most is an overall shot with the canopy in place, and one that might show how much the bracket sticks up above the rops. I may have to modify the barn a little but I want to get an idea of what it would take.Rusty said:stump54 - My canopy is the XLR-52 (aka XL-48). It is 48" wide x 52" long. I don't have any pictures, but I will try to take and post some, if you tell me what specific view(s) you might be interested in.
