Forgot to mention, My tractor is a SST not HST, would the manuals be different for these 2 models?

The service manual that I have includes both the HST and SST versions. The only major difference electrically appears to be
the SST having no cruise control module.

With all the intermittent faults that you have, there certainly might be a poor ground or broken
or shorted wire somewhere. I never had a problem with the engine not running when I had a
switched power relay failure. The engine ran fine. I'd start with the battery connections
and work back from there.
