Right now, personal data (name, e-mail, phone number) is shared with the third parties that receive the data from the forms you submit (data entered on the form). This includes:

- Private messages sent from user-to-user that include personal data in the message body
- Contact forms on classified ads
- Quote request forms

In the case of the data being passed on to third parties, their privacy policies would apply to how that (plus any other data you provide to them) would be stored (similar to if you make a purchase with a third party company whose ad you clicked on).

We've thought about having a completely blind quote request system but as of now we're going this route.

Kind of ironic. Over a yr ago i emailed a hauler for a price to ship a baler, never got a price from them. Today i got an email from them soliciting business.

I only got one uship bid. They would only give me a day to accept, price wasnt good. Later they came back and raised their bid. I ended up borrowing my neighbors new bigtex trailer (sweet trailer) and hauled it myself.

Hope the TBN transportation works out, will be very handy.

If the pricing is fair, this could be very useful.
3 years ago I had a 32 HP used tractor shipped 450 miles, and it cost me $1200.
That was a big nasty....OUCH !!!
Won't ever be doing that again!

The way it works now is we forward the request to two different shippers and they reach out with quotes. We will eventually add 2-3 more shippers so you'll get 4-5 quotes.

I tried getting quotes on having a PU shipped from Atlanta to Cape Cod.
What a fiasco.
The shippers apparently shared some sort of community website, and I was bombarded with quotes for more than a month.
A total PITA!
Sure hope it won't work that way through TBN.
