A CK30 in 1.5 acres is a little overkill. I would rent a trackhoe or pay someone to do the initial work and then purchase a BX2230 (or similar Kubota line), garden tractor, CK20, or other sub 25HP machine for general maintenance and grass cutting.
Having a big, heavy tractor on a small/mid sized yard (especially in a neighborhood) is just too much tractor for the yard and will likely cause more issues than not.

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( but I would suggest thinking seriously about getting maybe a BX2230 (or similar size) tractor, a dump trailer, and a used small sized trackhoe. With a small trackhoe you could dig out the ditch - dump the dirt directly into the back of the dump trailer - which is hooked to the tractor - haul it off to where you are dumping - spread with the tractor - and go back for more. Using a BX23 you will be constantly repositioning and repurposing the tractor. Or maybe buy the tractor and dump trailer and rent the trackhoe when needed.

Second vote for "What Jim said!" Ck30 is a BIG machine for 1.5 acres. It is also big for a MMM. (very heavy) Rent the big stuff and get it done properly and quickly. Get a smaller machine that will meet your long term needs.
