I tried the Imperial whitetail clover and had poor luck with it. The Imperial whitetail clover and others that are perennial blends should not be included in a cost comparrison to annual blends. I do not personally like most of the perennial stuff but the Whitail Institutes Alpha Rack ( perennnial) is drawing the deer like crazy as well as the grouse love it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I saw the biggest deer I have ever seen in the woods on that plot this past week end. A less expensive White tail annulal from the Whitetail Institute is the "no Plow" which needs to go in tilled soil to work well /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif is standing up to the cold and made a great fall food plot. I am going to try some of the local blends of oats for the summer next year as I hear they are more drought resistant. Now on the expensive side I personally can not get any thing from Bio Logic to even grow. The most expensive and the poorest results of all was a brand from Texas called Tecomate. Dave
