Security & Theft tractor has been stolen but found the next day fishy craigslist ad

so i was looking at the used tractors for sale on Portland craigslist found a ad for kubota m series tractor for sale looked wasn't interested in the size of the tractor so i went back to the listing a few ads down saw a ad for stolen kubota tractor wanted to look and see if i can help the owner find his tractor saw the picture i was thinking didnt i just see that picture so i went back to the listings opened up the for sale ad and the stolen tractor ad compared photos and same tractor so i am wondering if the person found his tractor and wanted to sale it right after or if it was a hoax for attention

I dunno...

Same stock photo in each ad. Same phone number.

Being the smart *** that I am I would say why haven't you forwarded this to the attorney general, city or state. Hint hint.

Sure looks fishy.

Definately suspicious.

It could be that he got the tractor back within a day and now has it for sale. He also could have posted the "stolen" ad to get attention.

I don't think you're going to find many authorities that will even be able to touch the situation. Any that can will likely be unwilling.

That's the biggest factor convincing me it's some kind of mix up. It's either a prank or there's a good story there.

Any journalists out there? It could make a good page 2 story.

I think someone has to have sustained a real $ loss exceeding some minimum before they will even take a report.
