I've run a pto pump with lines running to a side reservoir and filter and it would be the only easy way I would think would work. I don't know a lot about this but know it worked for me.

With a hydraulic motors, flow is speed in RPM and pressure is torque.

With a brush that will operate on 8 - 12 GPM @ 2,000 psi the only variable is speed you will have the same torque at 2,000 psi

Unfortunately you will not have enough flow to run a broom efficiently. Even if you go by the low end of the flow required, it will constantly stall and you will be very unhappy with the performance. You may be able to find a pump and tank combo compact enough to put on the back that will run off the pto and fit between the three point hitch so you can still use the blade, but it will be a tight fit I think.

Yes, unfortunately I am coming to that same conclusion... So I will have to start giving more thought to a PTO pump of some sort (or another power source). I had an interesting idea using the front PTO but it needs more thought still...

Wait till spring time. I sold my 72" sweepster, with PTO power pack, and $500 in new bristles for $1500 bucks. They pop up for sale from time to time. Usually April and may in the snow belt. The guy who bought from me threw away the broom and used the power pack for a log splitter.

Yeah I see a few on CL here and there, but none with a hydraulic power pack also, at least so far. $1000 for all that is a total steal.
