A few days ago as I was tending to a small issue with my upgraded tires and wheels for my BX 1860 a poster on this site said, "since you are the only one in the world with a 243 loader on an 1860." Am I, does anyone else out there have one? Some how I doubt it. Well, now I have the perhaps the only 1860 with a 243 loader, and wheels and tires from a BX 25. Am I nuts? Do I not care about my warranty? I guess if these tractors are as delicate as some seem to think they are, I'm scr@%ed. I like to think that these are tough little tractors, maybe not a 48 farmall, but properly used and mantained, should take most anything I'll ever throw at it. I've chosen to enjoy my one of a kind tractor. Fast forward to yesterday, needed to get new tires on my work truck. The gentleman changing them out looks at me and says, "I've never seen an F-150 with a seven lug rim", my truck was "beefed" up at the factory with larger leaf springs, brakes, wheels and tires. My assumption was that it's original owner purchased it for a delivery vehicle. So, do I choose it, or do these "oddball" mechanical devices seek me out? Perhaps there is some strange magnetic energy that brings these to me? I'm going to enjoy what I call my F-200 as it in NOT and F-250, but certainly isn't a typicall F-150, still looking for a new name/model for the 1860, any suggestions? Perhaps 1825? Please respond with ideas if you have any. I don't want the 1860 to have an identity crisis.:laughing::laughing:
