Have State Farm here, spoke to my agent specifically about coverage when I bought the New Holland. A regular State Farm homeowners policy will cover the tractor and attachments up to the limits of the policy, less the deductible, IF -and he emphasized this- it is on my property. Take it off property, no coverage. There is a separate policy available for off-site coverage.
Ditto here.
I have state farm homeowners.
Coverage A is dwelling. Insured to $158k
When I built my pole barn, I specifically asked about covering it. They said their plan covers addition structures under Coverage B - Dwelling extensions automatically at 10% house value. So $15.8k. She asked if I needed additional on the barn. I did not, so It was already covered.
Coverage B is personal property. $118k. Covers anything on my property. Theft, fire, acts of nature, etc. I questioned if this would cover my tractor, BH, etc. Yep, it sure does. So Im good there. And they cover replacement cost, not what they deem is fair market value. ~$680 per year for all.
Sounds like the OP needs a new insurance company
