man, I know how you feel ... I made 2 interest payments and decided that I'd increase the down-payment to the full loan amount .... loathe interest!

Just paid mine off too, Spencer. Interest and principal! 'Course I put down a whopping down payment and got the New Holland interest free deal for one year. I broke the bank doing it but now it is paid off and I am glad I did that way. I cashed in savings bonds, raided two savings accounts, used my tax return and even threw in $401 in rolled up change for good measure. It left me kinda broke temporarily but a fella doesn't make too many big purchases in a lifetime and I wanted to get this one done and paid for. Now it is mine, all mine!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

As someone posted earlier, buy as many tractors as you can afford, then buy one more.
