Thanks for the info on switching the lights on. Question is how do you switch them off?

Did you just grab the aux feed from there and supply the relay...then install a small rocker type switch to control the lights?

No I do not have any rocker switch in the loop when I turn the tractor off then the lights go off. For the summer when I do not need the rear facing lights then I will just disconnect the relay switch wire from the aux power connector.

Here's the way I wired mine in using relays and the existing light switch, I liked that the ignition switch turns off the factory headlights and also shuts off the new Aux lights. This way if somebody forgets to shut them off or accidently bumps a switch I don't end up with a dead battery.

I was looking at something like this HERE from TSC for the switch and then most likely purchase 2 - 55 watt floods and position one pointing forward and one pointing in the rear.

I bought that same kit from TSC and it worked great for me. I had an aux line that ran where I mounted my lights so, I onlt had to break into the line for the switch and I was done. I used all the wires on other projects! It was very simple and it was my very first wiring job by myself.

We installed 2 forward facing and 1 rearward facing LED lamps. They are pricy, but very bright and draw very little power.

We fabbed up some brackets that hold two LED flashing warning lights, and mounted the work lights under them.

Wired directly to the battery, with sealed weatherproof switches near the fender.

Have you checked with the dealer to see if there is a aux power connection on that tractor ? On mine, there is a pigtail off the wireloom in the back that is wrapped in electrical tape and without knowing its there, you would have never guessed. Its well hidden untill you start messing around with the wires to find it. I am guessing that since you have the newer tractor and the GC's seems to be a copycat of the BX's- it might be the same as well.

That's what I used. Under the fender coming from the tailights was a quick connect (two actually, one hot, one swithced to the headlights/tailights). I used the one switch to the headlights so when the headlights come on so does my rops mounted rear facing light. Guess I could switch it but haven't done so yet.

On mine the two wires under the fender are connected to the "work light" fused circuit. I broke into the circuit and wired a toggle switch to the dash, with a waterproof screw on cover.
A 55 w halogen mounted on an old piece of bed frame between the fenders finished the job. Works great for rear lighting clearing snow. A 55w light draws about 4.5 amps, the circuit is fused for 10 amps and is switched when the key is on, so no problem there.
