I cant believe this name was available. Thanks everyone for making it possible. Anyway, I am new to this forum because I accidently purchased a KUBOTA B7610 at auction. Yes, accidently. I am new to auctioning too. I made a few mistakes. 1, I thought I was bidding 11500 and 2, I shouldnt have been bidding on this one at all. It might be too small for me and my new tractor bussiness. I planned on stump removal and light foundation work to be my main stay. This is a 04 with 1.8 hrs and FEL on it. I didnt even hear it run. The batt light and glow lite are stuck on, it seems I will have a dead batt when its time to pick it up. The best thing I could do was join a forum. What luck I ran into you guys here. The best thing you could do is check back with me here and answer all my silly little general questions as well add your two cents worth that I will put towards buying a manual because I dont think its gonna come with one. I will know soon enough but I'd be lucky they didnt have to use a forklift to place it on my trailor. I needed to get the deal on a B21 w/FELBckhoe and low hrs for 15k but who has time to wait for that. I am the father of 3 smaller children and need to get to work doing small side jobs for cash. After you tell me where I can shop for a backhoe attatchment (cheap) maybe you can tell me what all this little thing can do. I am a former owner of the Farm Pro 2425 aka Jinma made with cheap metal and sold cheap who snapped it in half after he went to lower a load on the front down and it free fell and stopped so hard it cracked the bell\\\ trans case. I am hoping this new thing can control a load a little better.
I like the fork lift I saw on the back of some of yours.
My "old" tractor weighed approx5500lbs. @25hp and could lift about 1thousandlbs or 1/2 ton and digging depth was approx 8 ft. Of course after winning my refund, I am not sure it could do any of that which it claimed. Sure they are cheaper to buy but the "you get what you pay for" motto may apply here somewhat, after you repair welds and fabricate a subframe so that what happen to me doesnt happen to you, it might be as much as the most expensive.

So to recap, I raised my hand at 11 or 11500 for what I thought was a more expensive piece, turns out I own it.
Is the KUBOTA B7610 a lawn mower or the smallest construction loader backhoe and with turf tires ?

Anyone with pics and good info or questions please post here. I will share pics of it soon. When I am not too busy putting it in the garage I will build a web page for it and try to get a few easy jobs for it this year. Meantime visit http://home.comcast.net/~myprivateftp/prospect.html and see what I almost bought before the owner changed his mind.
Nice meeting you and thanks in advance for any help and info/ advice. ie trade it in for a used B21 w/LB
BTW I have NO experience driving the prospect tractor or the B21...but after 70 hrs, I got pretty good at using the new tractor made in China. aka the old one.
PS. I hope this all makes sense to you and is readable, if it isnt, its because my kids cant type what I tell them.(kidding) but I do have to rush off and go change a diaper every now and again.

What all did you get with it? FEL? MMM?
The B7610 is a nice CUT.
It has a 24hp 3cyl diesel engine and 18hp at the PTO.
If it has the LA352 FEL then it'll lift 925lbs at the pivot pin
If it has the LA272 then it'll lift 770lbs at the pins.
It will run a 72" RFM or a 60" MMM.
The 3PH is a std Cat1 and it will lift 1058lbs 24" behind lift point and has a quater inching valve.
The optional B4672 BH has a digging depth of 6.5ft.
The B7610 is a great CUT but it is not a commercial tractor. It would probably work fine for you if you worked it with it;s design capabilities.
The L21 is a commercial TLB and would be more suited for your business.

Go to Kubota.com for additional specs & info.

Good luck

Congrats mrtractor...

You can go to tractorsmart.com and they will send you a .pdf of the manual. It's the right price!

I just purchased a b7610 and am impatiently waiting delivery. I plan on using it to clear snow off of my 1000'+ driveway as well as helping me round up firewood on 18 acres of wooded land. And of course the various other odd jobs that I need to tend to. I don't plan on digging too many foundations but I might need to repair the driveway a few times from winter's toll as well as dig up a few stumps.

I'd look up the closest orange dealer and stop in for visit. You'll see what they're like and if you think you can deal with them. Then they might be able to advise you on your light issue but it does sound like a battery problem. At any rate you could at least find out if the dealer is approachable.

Good luck!
Keith

This is a 04 with 1.8 hrs and FEL on it. I went to pay for it today and they said I bidded 13k for it and not the 12k I thought. So I walk out and they said they'd be checking the tape tommorrow. Why am I not surprised, because friends have already made me well aware of some of the pitfalls of going to an auction. What happens now ? My guess is I am banned from future auctions. or am I fined. what ?
I aint paying 13k sorry. 6% sales tax + 1% admin fees brings that up to $13,983.17 of which I had 13k ready and they lost me.
The way I figure I am searching for the next deal tommorrrow and not looking at some tape or waiting for them to call right ? So where is it ?

They maintained that I bid 13k today when they called. I spoke to two women. The first reffered me to the second, niether one knew what to expect from the owner in a couple of days.
Does anybody know what to expect ? I expect nothing but being banned from future auctions.

Check em out. I need a replacement tractor. I'm gonna need your help finding it cheap.

H I N O M O T O ? Anybody ?
I am still reasearching this, but it is looking more like my new TLB. This time I will be sure to install a restrictor for the FEL to lower the load more safely.

mrtractor,

You may want to hold off on getting a tractor until this auction thingy is settled. You might be on the hook for the tractor, or for the difference between what it sells for and your bid. Check your paper work from the auction. Let's say the owner needed the $$$ right away and sold the tractor for $9000 after you failed to buy. He almost certainly would win $4000 from you in small claims court (plus court costs). A bid is a binding contract and they apparently have you on tape...

The stress I am feeling over this alone has to be worth the difference.
I have three kids here, I didnt read anything to the effect the owner gets to both ban me for life
and tell the original owner "I'm not the one that screwed you, and here is his name and address".

Now I am no lawyer here, but he may not have to pay all of the $4k. The seller has duty to try and get the most he can out of the tractor. If he sells it for 9K and the fair market value for a tractor in similiar condition is $11K then the responsability, I would think, would be more like $2K.

I would advise you to consult a lawyer and have them tell you what you are going to be responsible for and what the ramifications could be.
