I will enjoy entering the local parades with them. then when I go to sell all my little tractors I will include a trailer or wagon to sweeten each deal.
My Cub Cadet runs perfect some days and other days it will quit for no reason. I checked everything over and decided to pull the coil. The contact points were very rusty. After cleaning them nice and shiny again and re-installing everything it fired right up. We'll see now if it will keep running or not. I love driving this little tractor . It goes over 15 mph top speed. Also I installed new front lights and that makes it look better.

So I don't want to pry too much, but do you live in town? with all those tractors? Your shop (no offense) doesn't look very substantial for the work you do. Which is stunning work. I mean, just, how in the heck do you even manage to paint?

I do live in town and on a very small lot. My workshop is small and can't even get a car inside it. Sometimes I wonder the things I could have built if I had lived in the country and had a real workshop . I have built many projects in this tiny little workshop over the years. I just always see the positive and am grateful for what I do have. Painting is rough to do.

Yesterday I built a new bracket and repaired the wore out steering linkage. It works like new now. I also took some expanded metal and made a new lower dash panel that was missing when I bought the Cub Cadet. It looks much better now. The grader should get in the shop next.

I love it, it's like a mechanics shop. You got order of who/what is coming in next. Your the mechanic though that everyone in town wants to do their work but the back log is so long because the work is so good. Do you serve coffee in lounge area. I bet the magazines are old though.

Ha, Ha, yes it is almost like I have a job !! Everyday I get up and decide if I want to work on tractors or head out on a ride in the car with my wife. No deadlines to get the work done by next week or next year, ha,ha. No specific order picking the next project , and no checks coming in wondering if they will bounce or not , ha,ha,ha,ha.

Yesterday I started 10 of my little tractors , the Cat with the V-plow and wing needed starting fluid to get it going but the rest started good. I pulled the 110, the 455 and the grader in the shop. I got some new rear fender braces built , welded on and painted. Next I will turn the grader around and work on the front axle . It steers very hard and I need to tweak it a bit.

Todays photos show my new improved steering linkages. The grader has always steered very hard and I lengthened the linkages by 6 inches to give more leverage. I also added three steering wheel levers to the small dia. steering wheel. After test driving it , it helped a lot.

Waldon52, you have most definitely been blessed with a knack for solving problems and thinking outside the box. It's amazing what you are able to do with seemingly small resources in an urban neighborhood, and with a big SMILE on your face. I enjoy reading your thread and hearing/seeing what new things you have accomplished.

Thanks for the kind words , much appreciated . I hope I continue to give others ideas for their own crazy projects. Todays project is to build wheely bars for the rear of my grandsons hot rod tractor. More than once when I popped the clutch I thought the front of the tractor was coming all the way over, ha,ha. This will solve the problem.
