Anyone find an aftermarket paint that is the same color gray as 2012 kioti tractor? Almost like a charcoal gray???

My local TSC store has charcoal gray spray paint as does Graingers. Don't know how close it is to Kioti gray.

Grey is easy, add some black to darken or white to lighten.

No match far as I know. We hashed this out 2 years ago on this forum. The Orange is Chevy engine orange.

How close is the newer Bright Kubota paint to Kioti Orange?

I thought I might paint some implements. I can get the Kubota orange for free.
I know the old Kubota orange is not a good match. Have not tried the new though.

Rub a little mud on it and call it good.

how about the older gray ? my tractor was made in 2008 but bought in 2009, the 2008 seem to have the light grey and the 2009+ have the dark grey... maybe im wrong

In all seriousness, for a scuff or scratch I wouldn't sand, prime, and paint. You will have a hard time blending the edges, and with fading, it very well might look worse either now or in the future. If your not going to do the entire panel, I would clean the scratch and carefully brush color with a artists brush.

I used Chevy orange from a rattle can to paint an ammo can for my chain(s), and YES it is a match for the KIOTI orange. But the problem is I can't find it from any manufacturer in Chevy orange. Tractor Supply has the Majic brand in AC orange but as it turns out that is "Allis Chalmers" orange. Any idea how close that is to Kioti orange? I am Looking to paint a bushhog that we had some welding done to and I am changing the color from Green to orange and I need more than rattle can coverage.

The paint I used to paint the ammo can was engine paint, But I was looking for something a little more robust for painting the bush hog, and other implements. Engine paint with a brush or sprayer may be tough enough for those applications. I do realize that anything (plow, BB, Bush hog, etc..) that contacts the ground, brush etc is going to scuff, chip, and wear but i just figure rattle can paint won't last too far past the effort of prep and paint.

Hey Beezz27, the majic Brand in AC orange is ok but its not close enough for me. The paint seems to be duller than the kioti orange. Just my :2cents:
