Well he may have but I kind of doubt it, Im thinking that he was more concerned with the well being of his wife rather than the tractor.

Im just saying that a metal object will stand up better to a roof collapse opposed to the human body !

You confirmed what i was assuming, but the way you wrote it, to me it sounded like the other way around..
