( I saw a funny one too where a guy was being scammed about a notebook computer he had for sale. )
I wouldn't play games with these guys. A guy that I buy refrigeration stuff from had an ad in the Autoshopper for a Jeep Cherokee. No price listed but some scammer called and made a really high offer for it, you know one of them to good to be true. Anyway the offer was accepted and a certified check/money order was sent. Well it turned out the money was no good. No harm, friend still had Jeep. Well the guy that sent the check was indeed from out of the country had called to make arrangements to pick up Jeep!! My friend says no way, and the scammer has now hired an international attorney to fight this whole thing claiming he sent a good money order. My friend still has the defunk money order but he now may have to hire an attorney. So if it was me I would just stay away from these guys, but it sure would be fun to beat them at their own game.
