I will try and get a better back picture of the Kubota-I found another dealer close to me that sells Mahindra and they have a brand new 2016 2538 cab w/loader for 27840.00. What are the thoughts on this machine.

If you are still considering new the LS3135HC would be comparable to the Mahindra 2538. (Couple of threads on here like this so I can't remember who I said what to.) I just purchased my 3135 with loader for $26,535. I looked at Mahindra along with LS and others. Personally I did not like the layout and overall "feel" of the Mahindra. Just my opinion I would highly suggest going to see them in person and test drive to make your own opinion. One thing to consider is that the LS price includes 2 rear remotes standard along with a control for the 3pt in the rear. It looks like on the spec sheet that none are standard on the Mahindra, both are options.

Don't want to be a jerk but is it possible the hour meter has been changed out and there are more hours than what it actually shows? I would be very suspicious . Looking at the picture it looks to me like the rear tires have a bit of wear or am I seeing things? Just seems odd that he would of only put on 17 hours a year. I hardly use my tractor and I put at least 30 hours a year on it.

With this comparison, you're comparing a "premium" tractor in the LS XR3135HC with an economy tractor with the Mahindra 2538. You'd need to compare the LS to the 1538 to see a similar product...or the 3540 but this is just a bigger tractor all the way around...the 3500 series tractors are beasts.

That may be true. I was comparing size, weight etc. Even more so then to look at the LS. Your getting a premium tractor for the price of an economy tractor.

From my research the LS and Mahindra tractors were competitively priced from model to model. Region may impact the pricing of different brands so it may not be that way every where. I very seriously considered LS before choosing Mahindra but the dealer network in AL for LS isn't very good. Mahindra is only a little better, dealer network, but there multiple dealers within 2 hours that have been in business for many years. Kubota and JD are the "big" brands local to me. You have to search around for NH or MF.

When i was looking for a tractor the LS premium tractor (XR3037HC) was prices $4-5K less than the comparable premium model Mahindra, Kubota, Case, MF, and JD. At the time those were the only brands near to me. I think most current LS owners found the same thing while shopping.

When looking at the Dealer-Manufacturer Relations Survey
2016 it looks like LS tractors knocked it out of the park.I will be checking the LS XR3135HC by the end of the week and then hopefully this weekend check the Kioti CK3510hst w/cab and the Used Kubota L4610 and it looks like the Mahindra 1538 is the competition with the LS and Kioti so I am undecided on that right now, the pricing is coming in higher then those two. Thanks again for all the suggestions

You won't go wrong with either of these 3 new tractors. You probably need to be shopping dealers right now since you "buy the tractor but marry the dealer".

I talked with a dealer that sells Kioti and Massey Fergusen and we where discussing the CK3510hst cab tractor which he is very impressed with and I mentioned I took a ride by when they where closed and I also noticed the Masseys and he said for the same cost I could check out the Massey 1736 any opinions on this.I believe it is a little larger then the Kioti.

The MF1736 is a comparable premium tractor to the others mentioned. But, I find it hard to believe a MF1736 cab model is the same price as the LS or Kioti cab models. They certainly were not when I was looking 3 years ago. I would have bought a MF1736 cab model if they were. I'm not sure if the MF comes with any rear remotes as standard equipment. The LS comes with 2 rear remotes. You may want to ask about that when you look.
I am happy so far with my LS XR3037HC.

George2615 why would you have chosen the Massey,The dealer told me the Kioti CK3510hst now come with two rear remotes standard (maybe to keep pace with the LS).I guess I will test drive both and check his pricing

If it was the same or even within 1-2K I'd have bought one. Same goes for Case Farmall C series.
Reasons are:
MF and Case have been in business a long time.
I previously owned 2 other MF tractors years ago and never had any problems.
I've operated a few Case cab tractors and liked them also.
Well known name brands.

There was no Kioti dealer that had a comparable cab model when I was looking.

LS has been building tractors for other companies for many years (including Case, NH, Montana, MF, and others) but have only been marketing their own LS brands for 5 years (since 2009) when I bought mine in 2014.
I figured since MF, Case, Mahindra, NH, Kubota, JD, etc. were all higher priced I'd take a chance on LS based on their many years of building experience.

Same logic we used, George. I also looked at MF (as well as NH and Kubota). Nice tractors, for sure. Price and standard features won, though, with LS.

I went to the LS dealership today and operated the LS XR3135HC today and walked away very impressed with this tractor, the operation was great and I thought the layout of all the functions were in good positions. The cab had AC and heat but no radio the dealership said if I went and bought a radio they would install it for free, is that what everyone else is seeing and he said the speakers are not very good so should this be dealt with at the same time? (I really do not care about the radio at this time but I think anything I can get the dealer to do now is the time).I still am going to try the Kioti CK3510HSt,Massey Ferguson 1736 and the used Kubota L4610 next weekend.

Not to throw anything else on this but Kioti is running a deal on their nx5010 and dk5010. You might want at least price one while you're taking to them.

I'm reopening my research to seriously take a look at the Kioti.
