By the way don't discount the auxiliary rear 3pt control on the Kioti.. Many owners of other brands wish their tractors had that rear 3pt control. Call it "rear control envy" It is VERY handy when hooking up implements.

This is a cool feature ... I am able to reach the 3pt lift lever on mine if I'm standing on that side while hooking up implements, but the rear lever would definitely be handy.

What surprises me is that all manufactures don't put it on their premium offerings. It is only some mechanical linkage. I cannot imagine it costing that much if it was engineered in.

Alright- couple more calls and got an LS price of 21,400 for the 4041 HST leaving that and the Kioti at essentially the same price once I add the extra rear remote. I can probably not the price a bit lower once I'm there and in person but at this point its a wash and just a matter of picking which tractor! That's where you all come in

I did run across a 2012 Yanmar LX4100 slightly used with 37 hrs for 19k but once I add the rear remotes for 1200, the savings are a wash.

Since the LS and Kioti are a wash on price, it will come down to which one you like operating the best. That means you got to demo them and choose the best fit!:drink:

i have all of a couple hours of dirt work with my jd 1070 with a box blade and i can already tell you that draft control is a very nice feature, so much so that i would pay extra to get it or exclude a manufacturer from a purchase decision if it was not available. i don't buy new equipment anymore, but if i did i very probably would have gotten a ls 3033. kubota, kioti, and yanmar make a very nice tractor as well (i have never even seen a mahindra so i can't comment) and i don't see how you can go wrong with any of them.

OP ... search my threads that I started by going through my profile, there's one I started earlier this year when I was shopping for the same tractors. it gives a lot of specific details regarding the tractors, and the impressions I got from them.

It also depends on which dealer you like better. You can have a great tractor, and a horrible dealer.
