it is a glow plug type thing in the manifold. fed by electricity, and fuel from the top of the injectors, and there is no fuel there. and it has never worked.
I'd get this working. The hot air from the glow plugs aids in atomization of fuel and increased compression to cause it to start. Some engines have poor compression and one must use the glow plugs more than others. Be careful taking the glow plugs out because depending on the design they can break off inside your engine.
Anyway a simple glow plug manifold can be fabricated and installed in you engine utilizing a simple push on momentary switch to power the glow plugs. Good luck and keep us posted.
