Metal-pole and canvas buildings make for great tractor storage sheds. They aren't terrific at handling snow loads, and do disintegrate when you accidentally run them over, however. It did well last winter, but took a few solid shots from the bucket this past year, so it was getting pretty rickety and was fairly crooked. I planned to sure it up before the snow came, but never got around to it. Also, after last week's double 10+ inch hit, I completely forgot to knock the snow off with a broom...oops.
Wouldn't have been so bad, except for the 30,000 pounds of snow on top of everything. Who would've guessed I had to actually cut the tractor out with a utility knife. Sheesh.
Check out the 500# chunk of frozen gravel that was stuck to my B/H bucket. Even a couple of wacks with a sledge wouldn't budge it. It'll fall off sometime before spring.
Finally, after about an hour and a half, my Kubota was free, and the tent was off to the tractor-storage yard in the sky.
I hate when that happens...
