Cool vids, I bought a rake and back blade from TSC about 12 or so years ago. The only trouble I had was a couple broken or lost tine bolts and one of the cheap adjusting pins bent. I now have a 26 hp tractor and previous was 23. I used both pieces hard and they are outside always. I am well pleased for the price. :laughing:

I think you will have to pick and choose, some of the TSC stuff is good enough and some stuff is better to buy the Frontier. Buying a landscape rake the Frontier 60" is well made and the tines and their attachment is better. The tillers though are a different story, a King Kutter 48" tiller is a better deal than the Deere 647 from a money standpoint, both are very good. The carryall is okay if you need one, just don't overload it. The Countyline subsoiler is fair at best and it would be a good idea to brace it up before you ever use it.

Do you have a welder or access to one? I ask this because if you do you can repair or build some of this stuff yourself. I currently have about 10 small 3PH implements and 4 towable implements for my x749. I buy the Deere stuff if it necessary but will buy TSC if it is for a light duty job and is something that I can fix or beef up.

For the most part I use the larger tractors to do most of the work preparing lawn areas and moving materials around and these implements are more heavy duty. The x749 is used for mowing and cleanup and to work in tight quarters where the larger tractors can't fit. I can till, smooth and rake beneath the trees or in small pockets with the small mower and reduce the amount of hand labor needed. I bring this up because the x749 and a 2305 are very small tractors I think these are great for small jobs. I would caution you to make sure a 2305 will work for your main go to tractor. Make sure this size will work for you before you spend an arm and a leg on subcompact implements only to find you need a larger tractor.

Back when I first started, I bought several TSC implements. I was also a frequent customer at the local weld shop to get it fixed Then they started labeling their stuff for 30-35hp tractors only. Mine was 45 hp I started buying name brand medium duty attachments (scraper blade, box blade, bushhog, etc.) I haven't been breaking the implements Ken

Thanks for the warning. I think the JD 2305 is 23 HP

I would caution you to make sure a 2305 will work for your main go to tractor. Make sure this size will work for you before you spend an arm and a leg on subcompact implements only to find you need a larger tractor.

I really need a riding mower, but I have some areas that were left a little rough by the excavating contractor or that settled over the winter. I need to maintain and plow snow from a sloped gravel driveway that is about 500'. I addition I have several acres - some wooded - that need a small tractor with a bush hog. Therefore, I think this 2305 will be able to help me with these small tasks. I know it will not be fast, but I have time and will enjoy getting out and taking care of things.

Thanks for letting me know that your equipment is able to stay outside. I have always garaged everything, but I don't have the space for the new equipment inside. Do you keep it covered or is it in the open?

I hope to get a JD 2305 soon, so I have been looking at Cat 1 attachments. My first need is for a landscaping rake, and I looked at Tractor Supply. They told me that they used to handle King Kutter, but now they have their own label on the King Kutter manufactured implements.

The prices there are considerably lower than for JD's Frontier brand. How do the implements from Tractor Supply compare with JD or other brands?

Most of the stuff is OK, and good for what you pay, but I'd not recommend the landscape rake except for very light duty or only in the shortest width 5' - ?). They did not model it after the KK line and instead substitured a U-channel which just doesn't seem as well designed or of a high-quality steel. Not that long ago there were several pictures here on TBN of the U-design bent.

I built this landplane grader about two weeks ago and bought this boxblade last year. Bought the landscape rake with the mower. These three implements can do alot of cleanup work. I prefer the x749 mower with aws and 4x4 to the 2305 because it is more manueverable. I doubt there is much difference in what they can do as tractors.
