Tractor tipped over and wont start

Wow...thanks for all the advice. Yesterday I started removing the glow plugs but got interrupted. Im going to copy the "big flip" stuff because that looks pretty close to my situation. (remove glow plugs, bleed fuel lines, possibly remove muffler) Except my tractor was on its side for 24 hours.

Don't forget to wash the battery and tray and all the area around it with baking soda solution to stop the acid that leaked out of battery.
Even if you don't see it now do it you will see results of acid in a couple of months if you don't

Good idea. I will do that. I already have destroyed a pair of jeans from the acid........either that or killer moths....

I was a little nervous about just pulling the GP's and cranking away. If it easy to crank manully and you see oil coming out for a few revolutions you should be comfortable that nothing serious has happened. You could probably try a quick crank with the starter. Quick pointer, be ready for a potential big mess with oil spraying everywhere. Cover the area above the best you can without it being too restrictive as the force coming out will blow it away. The clean up will be a little easier. But I would defintely trade the mess for the smooth sound of the engine running nice. As other have said the fluids may just settle back after 24 hrs or a few days, but why take a chance on an expensive investment. With that in mind don't forget to topup or check all fluids and look for signs of mixing of the wrong fluids.

We've thrown a old beach towell over engines like that, when purging them ( like when oiling the cyls on an old gasser for a few days, then rolling it over.. etc.. )
