Won't be going in the woods. I live on a small lot surrounded on three sides by National Forest Service and Salt Lake City Watershed. There is nothing above me at all, no power line, no motor vehicles, nothing, for about 1300 acres just in this drainage. I'm not allowed to cut firewood. I can't even cut down dead trees *on my property* without a permit. ( And I would never, ever do that...
). So this will be used to clear the road, light road maintenance on the dirt sections, move some rocks, spread gravel, kinda of stuff. 99% of the use will be doing work on the road. 99% of that will be clearing snow.
And yes, I actually do like getting out and doing stuff like this. I love being out in a big storm. Plus, the fact that I can clear when I need it, not when it comes up in the queue, will be priceless. Not to mention, being independent and not relying on someone else during the big dumpers.. big bonus.
