I have a 2011 l5740htsc3 with about 39 hrs. Cut grass a few days ago but won't start today? Cleaned the fuel filter, primed it, loosened gas cap in case there was some sort of vacuum. I also checked the air filter. I know it's still under warranty but I was hoping its something simple so I don't have to eat the transport cost. will the dash diagnos the issue itself with some sort of button and key sequence?

Thanks for any insight?

check your PTO leaver. Maybe you left it on or the switch stiks a bit. Some saftey function that one can't start the tractor with the PTO engaged.

Yeah, but usually it cuts out it out so that it won't turn over either...

Does it have fuel? Safety switches will not allow the engine to turn over. I see that you bleed the fuel line...

If it cranks, and has fuel and compression, (and fuel timing)it must start.
Fuel shut off solenoid click? Have you cracked a line going to an injector to see if fuel comes out when cranked? I bet it does not. Fuse blown to fuel shut off solenoid? Bad solenoid.? Crack the line at the injector and check for fuel and then you will know.

The fuel bowl filled right up when I turned it back on? I have not cracked any lines at this point but did open the primer for a couple cranks but have since shut it off. I was moving a good bit of dirt the week before so is there something that dust could hinder?

Thanks

Ok I understand you opened the primer knob and cranked and it did not start, I am till thinking no fuel coming out of the injector pump, to the injectors.. Crack the injector line at the injector, crank and look for fuel.. I bet you will not have any.. you have to know to troubleshoot further.. I am still betting on that fuel shut off solenoid. It will be interesting to see what you find.

Ok I will let you know what I find, if that's the case what's the next step?

Thanks

Ok I have strong fuel flow up to the needle valve (primer) right before it goes into the pump. I will trace it after the pump tomorrow, I guess I would just slightly crack it loose due to the pressure after the pump And then crank it a couple times?

Thanks
