Not sure, I'm a Ddc guy. Learning as I go. Thanks for all the input.

Test at the juinction of the lines that come from the injector pump go into the injectors, Crack a line slightly and look for fuel, while cranking, I am betting you will not find any. While you are at it you might want to put your battery on a charger, depending how much cranking you have done. Don't crank for more than 10 seconds at a time, then rest for a bit, no sense overheating your starter. I am hoping someone else that is familiar with this model of Kubota can tell us more about the fuel solenoid in more detail if it comes to that. First question, you never answered, is when you turn the key on just before you start to crank do you hear the big "click" of the fuel solenoid being energized. You should also be able to feel it on the injector pump with you hand while someone else turns the key.

Ok , I do not hear the solenoid click when I turn the key. I don't know why I did not catch that. My old l4330 always did it and so did this one. I guess you just block it out? Anyway, I looked at the obvious fuses (at least what I thought might feed it) but all were good although the manual does not say which one feeds it? Is the fuel solenoid in the pump housing? I attached a couple of pictures in case it's visible on the the outside. There were 2 fuses that read "T/M controller" , could it be timing and motor control? Anyway they were good.

Thanks again for the input

Here is where It would be helpful if someone that has the shop manual or knows this particular tractor would chime in, but generally the fuel solenoid is on the injector pump and mechanically shuts off the fuel flow path. The solenoid is like any other solenoid, in that it has a moving part (armature) that moves back and forth depending on if the coil is energized and a spring moves it the other direction when it is not energized. In this case this one moves to mechanically shut off the fuel. This armature is controlled by the magnetic field from the coil when energized. So look for electrical wire or wires going to the injector pump. Pull connector and measure for voltage when the key is turned on, If no voltage, then go backwards to find what fuse feeds that. If there is voltage when the key is turned on then use your ohm meter to check if the coil of the solenoid has continuity. It could be "open" and that would explain why no fuse appears to be blown. Also the solenoid could be mechanically "stuck". It may be energized and the coil may be good and the magnetic field is there but the moving part (the armature) cannot move for some reason. But the fact that you no longer hear the click, indicates that this is the area you need to be troubleshooting in.

I looked at the messicks fuel system diagram but did list the solenoid, I will try and trace any wires around the fuel pump and see where that takes me. I was thinking that a mouse chewed something but do not see any traces of them either.

Thanks again

Request the electrical from messicks. and lets see if we can figure this out.

I can't add anything... but to encourage people to list the tractor model in thread titles... If I see my model #, I'll read the thread regardless of what it's about
