I would like to do a sort of survey. In terms of percentage of hours of tractor use on your current tractor (this is not about you, it's about your tracctor), how does you tractor time work out (you can post multiple times for multiple tractors if you want to).
For me it's as follows:
15% Chipping (if you have a PTO chipper)
10% Moving dirt/gravel
40% Back Hoe work
20% Moving stuff with FEL(mulch, old dog houses, refridgerators, etc...)
08% Finish grading
02% Snow work
05% Idling while your doing something else and start up and cool down).
00% Finish Mowing
00% Bush Hogging
00% Digging with the FEL
00% Mixing concrete (if you have a PTO mixer)
00% Plowing/tilling
00% Logging
00% Ag (hay, planting)
00% Spraying
00% Driveway maintainence
Anything else
These are rough estimates of course, but it's interesting to think about how you actually use your tractor, that is, where the hours on the meter really went.
