Tractor use percentages

95% Moving dirt/gravel (maneuer ) with my Ford 660
05% Moving stuff with FEL(mulch, old dog houses, refridgerators, etc...)


??% Idling while your doing something else and start up and cool down).
I figure that applies to all my tractors for a few percent here and there.. hard to gauge.


100% Bush Hogging with my NH 7610s


50% Plowing/tilling with the 8N
50% Ag (hay, planting) ( seeding) with the 8N

??% Driveway maintainence

Not yet.. but soon one of the old girls is gonna be doing some driveway maintenance.. just havn't decided wich of them gets the honor yet..

An interesting thing about owning a tractor is seeing how versatile they are when your needs and ambitions change. How I needed to use it before finish grade was completed a couple of months ago and now is considerable.

Of course, acquiring new implements (like the bush hog) adds to the changing uses!!!


Before Finish grade:
70% front loader work
15% box blade driveway maintenance/grading
10% tilling (use this quite a bit)
5% sub soiler and potato plow/middle buster

Now:
60% bush hog
15% front loader work
10% box blade
10% tilling
5% subsoiler and potato plow
