Tractor with cab for snowblowing

I had a rear mount blower on my previous tractor. Normally would use the rear blade to clear the yard, mile long gravel driveway and mailbox area. When the berms would build up along the driveway - out came the blower. I got tired of looking over my shoulder for the two hours or so - each time the blower was needed. My neck and shoulders would ache for a couple days.

So..... I upgraded to my Kubota M6040 and with the heavy duty Rhino rear blade - any blower is a thing of the past. Clearing all berms is easy with the upgraded system.

If you have a snow blower on a cabbed tractor, be sure to carry along a squeegee to clean the snow off your cab windows so you can see again. Wipers help, but you need better visibility than the wipers provide. You will find that you pay close attention to what way bower chute is pointed and which way the wind is blowing too.

Had to do that with my previous tractor with a Curtis cab and no rear wiper...no problems with my current 4052R with a rear wiper

You could check out Erskine front blowers. They listed a rear pto powered front mount blower. I based my build on that and the Schulte heavy duty unit. Building mine came in at around 2k. Buying one wasn't in the cards for me.

If you already have a rear blower and can put something on the front as well. Get a snow box instead of a plow..a snow box ith a back drag blade is like cheating.. it is a minimum of 2x as fast as a plow.

Nice setup, I just purchased a MK martin 60 inch inverted blower for my Kioti CX2510 at the end of season so have not had a chance to use it. I have ordered the Tivar scraper blade from MK martin as I have a paved driveway. How do you find the blower , can you tell it is behind you? Any weird actions when blowing on a grade?

Not really, if it is extreme grade try to blow downhill rather than going up unless you're chained on all 4 wheels. Other than that works like a charm. Here is a video I made using mine.
