I know this is a subject that's been discussed a number of times before - is there one that hasn't? - but, like safety, it's hard to beat this one to death.
I just wanted to say thanks to Muhammad for making TBN possible, and to the member community in general (including Muhammad again) for making the forum what it is. I've gotten huge amounts of valuable advice, assistance, information, and fun out of the TBN gang. Not to mention lots of wonderful ideas, magnets, coffee, lots and lots of private e-mail discussions, some phone calls, electrical circuits, etc. It's an amazing resource we all have here.
One of the most amazing things, to me, is that it's a hugely diverse collection of enthusiasts displaying a tremendous amount of civility. These two things are often mutually exclusive, because an enthusuiast always has an opinion, usually a strong one, and that tends make discussions a little vocal and spirited. An incredible balance is shown here in that regard.
Apparently, many of us are also using Muhammad's new search engine a lot, too, because I'm seeing a lot fewer of the same old questions asked over and over again. One thing I'd like to encourage, though: I've repeatedly seen some of the best ideas, or questions, for that matter, come from those who start their message with something like: "I've been reading TBN for 7 years now (ok, I'm exaggerating), and I just decided to join in the discussion." Don't wait! We don't bite! Well, seldom, and if we do, it's just a flesh wound, and we bandage it up for you right away. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
Anyway, what I really wanted to say was, thanks!
