TRACTORS AND DEER HUNTERS

I don't hunt often on my 40 acres, but my relatives do and I get to haul the deer with my Kubota. Here is several pics of my niece's eight point from opening day this year. She dropped this one with one shot at 245 yards with a .270! Kubota hauls Deere!

Nice deer, even better shot. My kudos go to your niece. How much did that thing dress out at?

I was thinking that thing looked heavy also...

Yup, I use my tractor every year. Saves my back and makes the job much easier.

Does it count if my tractor watched?

I've used the tractor to retrieve the deer from afield but hadn't thought about hanging it up to field dress. seems like a good idea.

Very nice buck by the way.

Works real slick for gutting as well as transport.

I drag them with the drawbar hitch to where the buzzards can get to them.

Buzzards really love to dress them out for me. Other varmits despose of the fauns though.

I'm relieved to see this post because my wife makes fun of me when I hang deer from the bucket. She also laughs at me for lifiing my lawn mower off the ground so I can sharpen the blades. I'll post pics of my deer from work tomorrow. Great post guys.

I also use the tractor FEL to being em out and to skin and dress em out, works real well. Another tip that might be helpful on skinning is before you gut em use an air compressor and blow air in between the hide ( blow it up like a balloon) makes skinning real easy, blowing the hide up seperates the hide from the deer. It makes pulling it off a lot easier. I also dont gut it till its skinned. I can have one dressed out in 20 min this way. Aint it nice to have toys!
