Want to get rich quick ? Get a elected political position.
Want the best benefits without much work ? Go to work for your local government. PennDOT workers depend on the support their shovels give them by leaning on them. Plow snow after the storm is over.

Well it sure as heck hasn't been implemented. Every single government bureaucracy has just continued to grow and steal power from the Citizens. Every single one needs to have at least half to two thirds of it high end staff remove / fired / terminated and their budgets for man power reduced.
We all have opinions about what should be funded and what should not. But Congress holds the purse and decides what agencies will do with the amount they allocate. And it boils down to local politics for what they fund. The executive branch only executes the programs that Congress authorizes and funds. The constitution separates those responsibilities and authorities; we have a president, not a king. Agencies staff to the level needed do the work that Congress directs and funds. It all starts and ends with congress.

I mean, the DOD hasn't passed an audit in how many years? Sounds like the government isn't great at being accountable. We can probably do away with a lot of Federal jobs. Twitter didn't need 90% of them... We can probably afford to raise unemployment for federal workers

Tariffs... a favorite tool of tyrants throughout history, which is simply a tax on the citizens, paid for by the instant inflation, yet offering a degree of separation so that the sheeple never associate it with the tyrant, but always somebody else. And they never work as planned, except for the tax part, which always works. Again, when the government says that it's for the good of the people, the lie every tyranny uses for control, always know that it isn't, but only for the good of the government and the elites running it.
so what is competitive about 28% corporate tax. Heck its not even competitive bc china dictates who pays 20% and Taiwan its 15%, now add in regulations here in the states (which costs more money) and our workforce as its more expensive. I see a tyrannical crap at work with this system. As we all know we the consumer in the end pay for all those things i mentioned. Those things are also the reason why companies move out of the US. The goal is to keep companies and bring them back. Oddly the left think more corpoartat taxes is the answer It is not

DOGE is a ridiculous concept; it's self-contradictory, replicating what already exists.
So there is no government waste because Congress assures you that? Seems that is rather "ridiculous"

so maybe the "concept" of exposing the books (transparency) just might be good for citizens who pay taxes and want to know if government is milking them. Soon to be 37 trillion in debt. Right now you owe them $107,103.00. Hows that "replicating" working

Bull crap, bureaucracies and bureaucrats do not exist for the purpose that they were started;

Now and for the last 20 years (at least) all they have done is grab power for themselves and strive to make themselves the ruling political branch while being non-elected power tripping idiots.
Every thing they do is to grow their hold on and over the populous that needs to remove their worthless carcasses with their over bearing "rules" and regulations that they do not have the legal power to propagate but they continue to do so.
The individuals who try to stand up against these illegal offices and officers have to fight against taxpayer funded big money lawyers out of their own pockets and then it will be dragged out for years in the courts as the bureaucracies are well funded by tax dollars and have no concern about the march of time draining any opposition.

Everyone has an opinion. The facts are that Congress totally controls agency funding, mission, accountability, and accomplishments. There’s nothing illegal about an agency executing the missions that Congress has directed by law. And when/if there is an overstepping of authority, the courts typically remedy the situation, and/or Congress deals with it. There are plenty of successful court challenges that rescind agency decisions. But the facts are that there are legal requirements established by Congress for any rule making and all are published daily in the federal register. Nothing is developed without the legal processes directed by laws established by Congress. Don’t believe the people who state otherwise; they don’t know what they’re talking about. Agencies operate to execute laws passed by congress.
