We called it a bore cut, trigger cut, strap cut, BCA (barber chair avoidance) all within the "game of logging" techniques.I have done that ,plunge cut whatever but I’ve always cut that tag off I didn’t know what it is called

I wouldn't have jumped into the middle of it, had I not been sure that he takes your ribbing in the context it's meant.Hunt knows I'm only busting his stones, since OP isn't here to do it!! I think a little break in between tractors & wood once in a while is a good thing, keeps the group from getting stale. I wouldn't do it to anyone with a tractor question or any good tips to share.
