My splitter pushes the wood through a 4 way wedge, right out to my helper, the splits then go into half cord boxes,

That I have no problem moving with my tractor,

The log splitter my father built on the late 1970s has a table on it- I can't imagine splitting wood without one. I'll have to give Dad credit for a great idea- I don't remember any manufactured splitters back then that had a table.
