We pile them and let them rot for use in our garden and for other places where the soil could use a boost. I also keep having chips brought in from Arborist companies. They typically have to pay to get rid of their chips so I let them dump them for free and then pile them up. They make great compost in time. It will be nice to have my own chipper since i am constantly having brush to deal with and we can't burn in NJ so now I have a tool to handle the stuff I don't burn. The WC68 will handle up to 6" which I typicaly burn 4 inch and above.

No chipper, no problem..:D

Ok. I suppose you値l have to post a few pictures now. Work right now is precarious. But if we get the go ahead and it痴 determined my work is going to last another 10 or 12 years, I知 not hesitating buying that winch I致e been wanting to buy for years now. This covid may cause where I work to collapse and close. Just 6 months ago, we were going to get repaired to last another 12 years. We don稚 know now if we値l last 6 months. If we are determined to get fixed up for another dozen years I may celebrate and treat myself to the winch after all.

Before starting next panel I trimmed the ends on the first one and while I covered myself in sawdust I noticed a slight dilemma, when I get down to the run-off brook and drag the bridge off my trailer, it's going to dig in the ground, I dont want it to dig in the ground. So plan A>maybe put some planks down, Plan B>maybe put skis on, Plan C>maybe get a Chinook helicopter......

yeah I'm thinkin option C is gonna be no good, the Chinook is a 2 rotor copter, you're gonna send too much cool Northern air down South Carolina way. If it cools down below 80 down there, Hunt's not gonna come out of his hot tub and never get that shooting deck finished... Don't you have some thin straight logs you can use as rollers to get that bridge off and across the water. Can you use the front of the tractor as down pressure and roll it across?

That's odd I didn't think of that, I'll move that in front of plan C......... YouTube
