Lets call it a wrap, the eagle has landed, it wasn't a perfect landing but the bridge is in, with some going back&forth with a long jack it's where I wanted it. Some lessons learn, when doing something like this the trailer needs to dead on straight, I thought I had it close enough but close on only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, maybe 2x6s 30' long would've worked better, I know another person with tractor would have but thats how it goes doing a 4 person job by yourself.

The only thing left to do is fill in the ends and put some insurance on it, that way there the bridge will have a lifetime guaranty so if it dont last a 100 years GG will pay to have it replaced..........

Now that the internet is back, it was a rough Red Zone last night............ Nice load of of river rock, wonder why it's called river rock........... When you get it figured out to unload that without manual labor I'll take 500 loads of river rock and I wont charge you a thing but to be fair I'll pay the tolls. I thought the board spacing was good.

It was unloaded by my friend Manuel Labour.

I thought manual labor was the present of Mexico. If I can’t use my dump truck to unload it I’m probably just not going to.IMG_8638.JPG

One more thing,, ALWAYS one more thing,,

Are you gonna chain the pieces to a stump,, so they do not go far when the high water arrives??

High water always shows up at the strangest times,,,:confused2:

He's above high water mark so should be good. I've had several truck bridges built using very similar methods and we've never had a problem.

My dump truck is not ready for service just yet, so makeshift materials trailer will have to do for now. I will start a thread for the truck when I get a little more done on it.

He just has to post a pic occasionally to show us what his trucks can do, and remind us poor folk that there's a better way to handle materials. ;)
