I bought it last December on a whim. Being tax deductible didn’t hurt. I’ve been really impressed with what all the little thing will do.

All good up here, could really use your mill right about now though. I lost tons of pine trees in this weird windstorm we got. All nice straight pines with nothing to do with them. Haven't found a local mill that wants them, may have to just buy my own!

Maybe back barring, running a full wrap you aren’t going to get a whole lot lower other then back barring or digging around the stump.

So get a little mill, mine has way more than paid for itself since I bought it. And if you have a bunch of straight pines down anyway now is a perfect time.

The temperature was in the 60s today so I decided to cut some firewood. I haven’t used my mini x for cutting firewood until now but it’s a real work saver for holding logs to cut and loading the pieces on the dump trailer. View attachment 714357

What a huge difference when you can cut at waist height rather than bent over.
I've said it before, I am so thankful I have the use of a telehandler with forks.
Your setup looks even better. Grab, turn, load. Envious.

Maybe a nice wood bench or something you can make out of the wood you are cutting... Something simple like this guy I made for around our pool, its always nice when it starts as a tree on the property.

Something will come to mind.

You’re fine and kind of figured you were but also want people to realize that if you’re always cutting in the dirt or super low you’re not gaining much.

Holy jumpin' jackrabbits - what a difference a new sawmill blade makes.

Put a new one on that antique I've been using and it ran so quiet I thought I forgot to do something.
And cuts like butter. I could almost give the head a little kick and meet it at the end.
Easy to change. The adjustment that was seized before moved fairly easily with a bigger hammer for assistance,
and it rides better on the out of alignment drive wheels than I thought it would.

Replaced my crappy, broken. no-parts-available chainsaw with a cheapo 45cc today because I didn't pay for it,
and it cut great too for the trial run. Didn't actually cut a tree down or anything.
I'm sure I'll be cursing that saw soon enough but it's hard to get too mad at something you didn't buy.

Too good a day. Waiting now for something bad to happen
