Certainly not the community of Old Order German Baptists living down the road from me. They use tractors for all transportation needs.

I know nothing about what happened there, or why, but I think you'll find in Texas, and probably most other states, the same applies. No problem driving tractors on the road for agricultural or construction purposes, but to use them just for transportation is illegal. Of course in most parts of the state, I'd be surprised if any officer stopped a tractor to find out the purpose of the trip. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
