I got into this thread late but don't think I saw it mentioned ... you can do an awful lot of the stuff you wish you had a FEL for by utilizing the 3PH. Sounds like a scraper or pond scoop and a set of forks would fix you right up and you might be able to get setup for $500 ... just a thought.

Well, here we are, after one of the longest threads in history, I finally got my new/first tractor -- JD 4110 with LX4 mower. I just want to thank everyone who helped me along the way because -- between what I learned in here and the advice the dealer gave me -- I couldn't have made a better choice.

Now if I could just figure out how to get the pictures up here...
