There is a Kelly Blue Book for tractors, but it is a pay site unlike the Kelly Blue Book for vehicles...

Is there a site somewhere that I might get an approximation of the value of my BX2670/60" Deck/Loader on a trade-in?...

Thanks...BCB

Probably not. There are online used tractors for sale which you can troll and see used prices and then realize they are making a profit and what you'll get for trade in will be 10 to 20 percent less than that. Dealers are free to offer whatever they want for trade ins with some dealers not wanting to invest their own money into used inventory, so, you can figure out how much they will give you, near nothing. Other dealers like Barlows hunts for good used equipment to sell and travels around the country picking up the good reasonably priced equipment, so, Barlows naturally will give more for a used trade in than a dealer that doesn't want used equipment.
You'll be wasting money paying for any such information because the market is so broad and sporadic with such great variances around the country.

Good advice...Thanks...

I guess I will try to do as you say and check what other models are selling for...

The dealer I have used for a good many years does give a pretty good trade-in, but it is always good to have some general prices before the "trade-in battle" starts!!!...

And I agree about some dealers just don't seem to want used stuff and they are quit insulting when giving prices. Plus there are only so many dealers within driving distance and this they also know...

Thanks...BCB

And this is why Barlows sells so many tractors at great prices and delivers all over the country. Often times the delivery truck brings back the trade in so trade ins should not be treated like they have leprosy. There are lots of buyers that believe they save a bundle on used and therefore a big market for them which Barlows has discovered and welcomes them.

I know someone that tried to trade an MX5100 4wd, loader, R4's, one rear remote and 3rd function. It had about 150 hours on it and 2 or 3 years old. He tried to trade it on a M7060 24 speed cab and the works, they offered anywhere from $15-17K. He sold it to an individual for $24K. Some dealers are so full of it. One told him he couldn't get more than $20K for it on the lot. He knew people are looking for nice tier 3 equipment so he knew better than to make the trade. The thing was like new. He said the first guy that came to see it took it.

A data point that may or may not be useful. I was looking into trading my absolutely excellent condition 76 hour 2014 BX25D on a 2018 BX23S with similar equipment. The list price of the new tractor has hardly gone up since I purchased mine. I received (2) numbers, the discounted net price of the new tractor, as well as the trade value on my tractor from a well known Dealer known on this forum. They valued my trade as 66% of the new tractor discounted price. For what it's worth. Good luck.....

The biggest "issue" with pricing of used equipment is the 0% financing. When you or any customer goes to a dealers lot and looks at an unknown used tractor with XX hours and the price is within $1000 or $2000 of a new zero percent with full factory warranty/guarantee/known history and the used to finance with interest will be about the same or maybe more total payment most of us buy new. Also a dealer can buy a new tractor at dealer cost which on a less expensive tractor can and probably is $1000 to $2000 below their asking price. Math makes it pretty obvious if one understands the dealer wants to make some profit on both sales since they did two sales then around 60% to 70% of retail price isn't to far off.
If a dealer sells a new tractor at full MSRP when they normally discount 10% then they can give more on a trade in and still make their profit on both sales but when the new sale is discounted the dealer can not give retail price for the trade in and get paid for both transactions.
I almost always trade in my used to Barlows for the new ones. The sales tax makes 6% difference which makes trading OK for me rather than deal with tire kickers and the obnoxious and the thief casing my property. If one is a farmer using the equipment for farming and also a Ky resident the 6% isn't a factor or if someone is buying from out of state.

Not really but researching tractorhouse.com will show the asking price of similar models.

Dealers are in the business of making money. They will insist upon making money on both the new tractor as well as your trade in.

You will do better selling it yourself, probably much better.
